Honeymoon Adventure and Egg Timer

These are good games to play while the bride is opening her gifts:

Honeymoon Adventure:

Have a 'secretary' write down what the bride says as she opens her presents ("I've never had one of these before!" "I've always wanted one of these!"). After she finishes opening the presents, read out a story about the bride and groom on their honeymoon, inserting her comments as dialogue.

Variation:

Ask the guests to remember what she says as she is opening their present. During the story reading, point to each guest to say their 'line'.

Egg Timer:

An easy way to give door prizes. Set an egg timer while the bride is unwrapping her presents. When the timer goes off, the person who gave that gift gets a prize. Reset it for differing lengths of time to keep everyone interested.
